DARIEN ROWAYTON BANK IS PROUD TO PARTNER WITH CAMP SUNSHINE TO PROVIDE A MAGICAL RESPITE TO CHILDREN WITH LIFE-THREATENING ILLNESSES AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM CONNECTICUT
For more than 25 years, Camp Sunshine has provided a haven for more than 35,000 family members from around the world, many of whom come annually from Connecticut. Darien Rowayton Bank is proud to announce its partnership with Camp sunshine, an effort that will provide funding for families of ill children from Connecticut to attend sessions at the Camp’s Casco, Maine campus, as well as raise awareness of the Camp’s activities in the communities the Bank serves. “We are pleased to be working with such a unique and worthwhile organization”, commented Bob Kettenmann, President of Darien Rowayton Bank. “Camp Sunshine provides a truly life changing experience for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.”
“Through this commitment from Darien Rowayton Bank, Camp Sunshine will be able to deepen its reach into Connecticut, increasing and enhancing support to sick children and families in the Bank’s surrounding communities, and throughout the state,” said Matthew Hoidal, Esq., Executive Director of Camp Sunshine. “We are grateful to the Bank and its management for this support and partnership.”
Darien Rowayton Bank is the only community bank headquartered in Darien. It also has a branch in Rowayton, as well as a home mortgage office in Niantic.
