NORWALK GRASSROOTS TENNIS

On behalf of Darien Rowayton Bank, Robert Kettenmann presents a check to Art Goldblatt, President and Founder of NGT for sponsorship of the 11th Annual Autumn Classic Tennis Tournament and Fundraiser on Saturday, October 2, 2010 to be held at Weston Field Club, Weston, CT. For fifteen years, NGT has brought the life changing benefits of tennis to inner-city children through tennis, free of charge, year round, indoors and outdoors in the neighborhoods where they live. More than 96% of its participants are disadvantaged African American and Hispanic children. NGT provides the youngsters with tutoring and thousands of supervised court hours, giving them an engaging alternative to the streets and TV during out-of-school hours.
