Darien Rowayton Bank makes a donation to Haiti Lumiere de Demain on behalf of Michelle Morfitt, a local Rowayton Resident who is involved with HLD. Aracelis Gonzalez, branch manager of Darien Rowayton Bank’s Rowayton office, presents a check for $500 to Louis Elneus, President of HLD. Founded in 1998, Haiti Lumiere de Demain is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan educational organization operating to promote literacy and educational opportunities among children of Haiti. The organization focuses its effort on the public primary school system in rural and impoverished areas of Haiti.
