Darien Rowayton Bank Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Darien, CT, August 3, 2010 – Darien Rowayton Bank announces that it has hired Kenneth A. Schmidt as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Schmidt has over 20 years of banking experience. Mr. Schmidt began his career at the Dime Bancorp where he was the Deputy Treasurer. Following the Dime he worked for two international banks. Most recently he was part of the management team responsible for establishing a retail bank in the U.S. for Banco do Brasil. His experience includes asset liability management, loan and securities portfolio management, liquidity and risk management. Mr. Schmidt holds an M.B.A. in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University. Mr. Schmidt and his family have lived in Darien since the early 1990s.
